Hotel Petra Santa Boutique regulates the entry, registration and accommodation of children and adolescents to guarantee their protection and prevent exploitation, abuse, violence or misuse in travel and tourism.

All minors are entitled to special protection. The hotel's decisions will be governed by the best interests of the child, the primacy of their rights, and the prevention of any risk.
People under 18 years of age may enter and stay only with their parents, legal representative or an adult expressly authorized by them.
Accommodation of minors alone or accompanied by an adult who cannot prove kinship, legal representation or express and verifiable authorization will not be permitted.

Reason for the trip.
Name of the establishment.
Contact phone numbers.
Express declaration of authorization.
Sexual exploitation, abuse, pornography, sex tourism or violence against children and adolescents.
Accommodation of unaccompanied minors.
Accommodation with an adult who cannot prove a relationship, custody or authorization.
Submission of incomplete, illegible, inconsistent, or false documents.
Any conduct that puts the integrity of the minor at risk.
The reception staff will verify and keep a copy of the media, record the corresponding information, and escalate cases to management when necessary.
The hotel will deny entry, registration or accommodation when the established requirements are not met.
Warning signs will include, among others:
Refusal to provide documents.
Inconsistencies in the information or documents.
A distressed minor or one who is unaware of the conditions of the trip.
Adult who avoids answering questions.
Last minute booking with insufficient documentation.
Large age difference with no proven link.
Request for unusual discretion.
Sexualized, aggressive, coercive, or intimidating behaviors.
In the event of an alert, the accommodation process will be suspended until management carries out the corresponding verification.
When there is suspicion of risk, exploitation, abuse, trafficking or violence, the hotel will report the situation to the Child and Adolescent Police, the ICBF, Line 141, 123 or the Prosecutor's Office, as appropriate.
The best interests of the child take precedence over any commercial interest.
The media will be kept for a minimum of five (5) years or for the longer term that may be applicable, under criteria of confidentiality, custody, integrity and availability.
The hotel has a code of conduct and training for the prevention of the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
The hotel may deny entry, registration or accommodation due to lack of documents, inconsistencies, absence of link or authorization, risk, suspicion or non-compliance with this policy.
Booking, entering or checking in a minor constitutes express acceptance of this policy.
